Chester Police Commissioners were not pleased with state police; Steve's Clothing opened in Cromwell

25 Years Ago: Chester Board of Police Commissioners conducted a special meeting to discuss what to do about its relationship with the state police. The police commission voiced dissatisfaction with the services it received from the Westbrook barracks, and claimed constables calls had been ignored.

25 Years Ago:
Steve's Clothing Store went into an anchor space at Cromwell Commons formerly occupied by Everybody's market.
