Westbrook fined $100; East Hampton library received 250 new books

25 Years Ago: The town of Westbrook was fined $100 by the state Department of Environmental Protection because it failed to conduct routine water monitoring at the landfill.

25 Years Ago: The East Hampton library announced the arrival of 250 new titles as part of the library’s McNaughton Plan, a program which allowed the library to lease books.
