East Haddam remembered the difficulties of getting around town in 1986; More funding was needed for firehouse building project
25 Years Ago: Although 1986 brought several major stories to East Haddam, it was remembered by many residents as the year when getting from one end of the town to the other was difficult, if not impossible.
25 Years Ago: Additional funds were needed for the Company No. 2 Firehouse building project in Portland, and the increase in the project budget was approved at a referendum by the town Board of Selectmen.
