Nicaragua trip shared; Students raise money for eye research
25 years ago: The public was invited to hear Christine Marselli, Middletown Councilwoman and teacher, discuss and show slides of her trip to Nicaragua at the meeting of the Portland St. Mary’s Church Guild.
25 years ago: Students at Haddam-Killingworth Middle School raised $250 for eye research in a “hats and shades” day fundraiser. The funds were donated to the Haddam Lions Club Eye Research Project.
